How LittyUp handles your information.

Operator and contact

LittyUp operates this app. Contact contact@littyup.app for privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests.

On-device information

No LittyUp account is required. Alarm recipes, exact schedules, onboarding answers, completion history, stars, outfits and preferences are stored on your device. Screen Time selections use opaque Apple tokens. Protection history and early-end reasons stay on your device. Widgets and Live Activities receive local presentation data through App Groups. We do not send free text, exact schedules, selected app identities or protection reasons to analytics.

Camera and optional morning photos

Find Light measures brightness using camera exposure data on your device. Camera frames are not sent to our analytics providers and no challenge video is saved. Recovery can complete a morning through a 20-second hold without a photo. Optional morning mugshots require a separate choice and are stored in the private local gallery, excluded from device backup. You can disable capture and reminders or delete individual or all photos offline, even without a subscription. Exporting or sharing creates a copy outside LittyUp; deleting the original does not delete exported copies.

Analytics and diagnostics: PostHog

We use PostHog to understand feature use, onboarding outcomes, purchase-flow outcomes and reliability. Analytics and diagnostics are enabled by default. You can turn them off in Progress settings without a subscription. The app loads your saved choice before starting optional telemetry. Turning it off stops new collection and discards unsent queues; it does not erase events already received by PostHog. Re-enabling does not replay activity from the disabled period. Events may include a generated installation identifier, session identifier, app version, operating system, device characteristics, language, event time and limited feature/outcome categories. Error events are filtered to remove exception messages, stacks and URL fields. We do not collect derived sleep feedback, photos or camera frames for analytics. Generated identifiers can link events from the same installation; they are not necessarily anonymous. PostHog receives network information needed to receive requests, including IP addresses, and uses it to infer approximate location, such as country, region or city, for analytics. This does not use device GPS or require location permission. We do not enable session replay or advertising tracking.

Onboarding answer analytics

When analytics is enabled, we send PostHog the predefined onboarding choices you confirm and a summary of your final choices when you complete setup. These include alarm habits, frequency, frustrations, schedule context, morning goals, predefined morning actions, language, ringtone and challenge selections, and optional protection and mugshot choices. Wake and bedtime answers are grouped into three-hour ranges; sleep and other durations are grouped into ranges. We use these categories to understand common answers and paths, setup completion, subscription conversion and later feature use. We do not send free-text answers, exact times or dates, selected app or website identities, derived sleep feedback, or photos. Generated installation and session identifiers can link these events to other app activity. The analytics control and rights described in this policy also apply to these answers.

Purchases: Apple and RevenueCat

Apple processes payment. RevenueCat processes a generated app user identifier, transaction and product identifiers, receipt or purchase information, subscription status and related device/app information to validate purchases, restore access and manage entitlements. These identifiers may link transactions across restores. We do not receive your full payment card number. Purchase processing continues when analytics is off. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account; removing the app does not cancel billing.

Permissions, website and support

System permissions control alarms, camera, Screen Time, reminders and optional saving to Photos. Manage them in device settings. These legal pages use Firebase Hosting without analytics or advertising scripts; the host may process IP addresses and request records for delivery and security. Email support processes your address and message to answer requests. Providers may process information outside your country under their contractual safeguards and policies.

Retention, deletion and rights

Local records remain until changed, deleted or removed with the app, subject to device backup behavior. Photos and early-end notes are excluded from backup. Analytics, purchase and hosting records follow the providers’ configured retention and applicable legal requirements; we do not promise a fixed period that has not been verified. Turning analytics off does not delete previously collected data. Contact us to request deletion of information held by us or our processors. We may need information to locate the relevant installation or purchase, and some transaction records may need to be retained by law. We cannot remotely access or delete your local photos. Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data. You may exercise applicable access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection rights, and complain to your local privacy authority.

Purposes and updates

On-device processing provides requested routines and optional features. Purchase processing fulfills subscription access and restoration. Analytics supports product improvement and reliability; support and hosting support operation and security. Applicable legal bases depend on the purpose and jurisdiction, including providing requested services, legal obligations and, where applicable, legitimate interests or consent. This notice and an opt-out do not replace consent where required. We update this policy when practices change.
